"Mommy, Me Ride Big Choo Choo!"

Waiting on the Big Choo Choo to pull in!!!

For those of you counting out there, "Mommy, Me Ride Big Choo Choo!" is Caleb's first 6 word sentence. We took the boys to Lufkin this past weekend and discovered that the Lufkin Zoo is open 24/7/365. That includes weekends, holidays, birthdays, etc. Based on the awesome experience we had this past weekend we will be testing these hours of operation for all of our future visits to Lovely Lufkin. Caleb probably repeated this sentence about 600 times this weekend and was even repeated today when I got home from work! It is safe to say that he was excited!

This is either the first or second trip on the choo choo on Saturday morning. Yes, you heard that right. There were multiple trips on the choo, choo that morning. Cooper was a little skeptical on the first couple of rides. His hand was glued to that rail throughout the trip.

Here is the afternoon ride! Caleb was just as excited as he was in the morning and asked everyone that walked by, "Ride my choo choo?" He wanted to share this experience with everyone that walked by.

Cooper was a little more excited once Daddy came along and said multiple times that he was having a really good time on the train.

Cooper LOVES his MOMMY!

So I have been getting a little grief over the past couple of days when I explained our trip to the zoo in Lufkin. Some of the best quotes were, "A cow pasture isn't a zoo!" and "The chickens in your neighbor backyard don't count either!"

That is why I decided to put a few action shots of the animals. The picture above is a rhinoceros and the pic directly below the Rhino is a "kitty with ball" otherwise known as a tiger.

DUCK!

After the zoo, we headed to Mommy's favorite Lufkin BBQ!! The boys each got an Andes Mint for being SO BIG at the zoo and dinner. They had more fun playing with the melted chocolate than eating it!!

Happy Grandparents Day!

Did you know that September 14th is Grandparents Day. Well, we didn't either. That is until we visited our local Kroger and saw the BALLOONS! Cooper and Caleb would like to wish a Happy (even though it is a little late) Grandparents Day to Mema, Papa, Mimi, Great Granddaddy, Gran and Granddad!

This last picture doesn't have anything to do with Grandparents Day, but it showed them getting cake at Grayson's party, so I wanted to include it!

Meet the Teacher

The boys got to meet their new preschool teachers today!! They loved their classroom and they loved their teachers. Caleb cried and cried when it was time to go, so Miss Gina gave him a bug stamp and he was all better!!! They start next week and go about an hour and a half. The week after that , Mommy will get a whole three hours to get stuff done!!!!
