Baby Campbell

This morning we had our 20 week appointment for the big ultrasound. Those of you with kids know that this is the appointment where they do all the measuring and make sure there are 10 fingers and 10 toes. There is a lot of excitement for this ultrasound because most patient people find out if they are having a boy or girl. We already knew because Mommy insisted on paying $100 to find out a month ago vs. just waiting for this appointment. There is also some nervous anticipation because this is the ultrasound where find out if there is anything wrong. The radiology tech really can't tell you anything, but we are comfortable that the tech wouldn't have been in such a good mood if there were any noticeable problems. We find out for sure tomorrow when Jennifer goes back to meet with Dr. Sam.

We are VERY excited to finally get some good "pictures" of Campbell and get to see him sucking his thumb and moving his little legs. Special thanks to Gran for driving in to stay with the boys so Mommy and Daddy could attend this milestone.

The Polar Express 2010

Lets say that, as usual, the holidays have been really crazy and really awesome. The boys are getting to the age where not only do they get what is going on, but they really look forward to Christmas. I can't tell you have many times during the 8 different Christmas celebrations we had that Caleb said, "Oh my goodness, This is SO AWESOME!"

One of the many highlights from this year's Christmas was the Polar Express. For those of you who have read the book, but haven't checked out the real thing are missing out. Cooper and Caleb are obsessed with trains and getting to ride a life size train with hot chocolate and rice krispy treats was almost too much for them.

We got there about an hour before it was scheduled to leave and the boys just stood there staring at the big train. They were very concerned it was going to leave without them and didn't like the fact that they couldn't get on, but were really good about waiting. I am really glad that we are getting to an age where they understand when things are flat out of your control no matter how much they want something.

Mommy and her boys!

Daddy and Caleb!

Santa Claus got on the train at the North Pole!

Cooper and his Gran!

The North Pole. You don't get off the train. It just stops and lets Santa on. Some friends of ours rode one of the later trips and said the North Pole is much more impressive when it is dark outside. We opted for the option that would still allow us to get home before bed time.

Special Thanks to Gran and D-Dad for such a special Christmas Treat!

Merry Christmas From the Seelys

The Seely Family would like to wish each and everyone of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We hope the holiday season has brought you joy and thank you all for being great friends!

The Seelys have been up to all sorts of Christmas cheer and have already had about 6 different Christmas celebrations. Let's just say that Cooper and Caleb are officially confused and don't really understand when Santa comes and when they just get presents. We celebrated Christmas in the Woodlands last Saturday which is the pictures we have here. The boys got new big boy bikes and they are officially masters of the training wheel assisted Huffies.

The past few days have been spent in Lufkin with Gran, D-Dad, Mema, Paw Paw, Mimi, K-Maw, A-Maw and many others. We have been running around for days trying to see everyone while we are in town and it has been awesome. We are so grateful to have such wonderful friends and family and look forward to spending the rest of the holidays with everyone.

We were lucky enough to get a new computer from Mimi for Christmas so hopefully that will increase the blog post count. Who know:)!

Merry Christmas From the Seelys!

Dear Cartoon Cuts:

We intended to choose you for our haircuts, but since your website says you open at 9, when in reality you do not open until 10, we chose your competitor.
Apparently the haircuts didn't turn out too well. Not because the boys were misbehaving, but mostly because there is a reason why "stylists" "choose" to work at a kids specialty haircut place. Gran, if you are reading this, tell the Mane Attraction we need an appointment.

Christmas Cards

Shutterfly is the place to go for your annual Christmas cards! Go online to http://www.shutterfly.com/ and check out their entire collection of Christmas cards, Holiday cards, and even wall calendars!

We recently had a special photo session done just so we can order our Christmas cards from them this year! It is somewhat overwhelming because of all the different styles, combinations, etc, but I think we found the perfect one to highlight our recent investment in family pictures.

The photo session started off great and didn't start to go downhill until after we already had all the photos we needed. Our goals were to get a good family picture, one good one of them together and then a couple good individual photos of each of them. Honestly, the only reason we made it as far as we did was because Daddy found a lizard about half way through and we used that as bribery for taking pretty pictures. Each good picture we got resulted in a trip back to the lizard to poke, prod and pretty much just annoy him. I am proud to say that Mr. Lizard made it all the way through the photo session and when we left was living and breathing. Now every year when we go back to look at our previous Christmas cards we will remember our adventures through our Shutterfly Christmas Card!

It's a Boy!

For those of you not on facebook, I thought it would be a good idea to post our latest news on the blog. Jennifer and I had an appointment with an ultrasound place on Friday to find out the sex of our latest addition. Our friend Lynsey wrote the neatest little poem for Jennifer's Mema and I thought saving it on the blog would make sure we never forget:

Oh, the suspense it's eating us alive . . .

A boy or girl, which will make the Seely Family Five!

No more waiting for the gender of the latest future Aggie

We just had to find out if it is Campbell or Maggie

We are so excited and ready to shout for joy

Cooper and Caleb will be joined by a BOY!

Campbell Bryan Seely arriving May 2011!
