So last weekend, Daddy decided to try his hand at a little task Mommy had been asking for. Little did he know that upon his arrival, the nice lady at Home Depot would hand his two elephant minded (meaning that never forget ANYTHING!) children a flyer advertising the Saturday craft which was making racecars. In true C&C fashion they carried those flyers with them all week. Everywhere they went they told everyone they saw, they were going to Home Depot on Saturday with Daddy to make a racecar. This meant that Daddy was going to Home Depot on a Saturday morning.
Also in true C&C fashion, they surprised the you know what out of me by how well they did at Home Depot. They both made their racecars and proudly carried them with them through the entire store while Daddy looked for a few things. It didn't hurt that the nice people at Home Depot had cookies and juice boxes that could be used as bribes for completing their craft and taking a picture. The picture above is one of the best they have taken in a while. Kinda makes me wish that I had combed their hair this morning.
The rest of the day was spent attending birthday parties. We had two parties today which meant multiple rounds of cupcakes. C&C are really funny in that they beg and beg and beg for cake and then once they get it, they lose interest pretty quickly and that is when Daddy swoops in and has himself a little snack!
