Safari Stop

When it is 105 degrees outside you have to get rather creative with how you spend your afternoons. Luckily one of our local churches opens up their indoor playground and gym to the public so we can have a reprieve from the heat. The boys ask to go to the "Safari Stop" at least once a day. That is when they are not asking for ice cream or to ride the trolley or to go to bouncing bears! These videos are of the boys singing the one song that stuck from their year at ELP last year. For those of you who don't speak Cooper and Caleb 'ese, I will translate, "Jesus, there's no one like you!" These boys definitely get their outgoingness from their mother:)

For those of you thinking, "How sweet are these two little angels?" This video was taken about 10 minutes before they got in a knock-down-drag-out fight with each other on the second level of a giant playscape! Don't get me wrong, they love each other more than anything, but man can they get after it! Mommy was none to pleased when she called to tell me about this little adventure. Daddy had to have a little talk with them when he got home.

Breakfast of Champions

We are on Day 2 of the sickness and despite a little accident at the car wash yesterday, we are doing pretty good. Both boys had pretty bad fevers last night, but a little Motrin got them through most of the night. We seem to be better this morning and once again Phineas and Ferb are our favorite friends.

Potty Training

Hey there sports fans! We decided to take the plunge this weekend and start potty training! We dabbled a little bit during the week, but it didn't really go all that well. Our thought is that 2 hard days with help from both Mommy and Daddy will set a good foundation that Jennifer will be able to carry into next week. We are praying for sanity as they start to get it. Right now I am asking them about every 7 minutes if they need to go and following that up with, "We don't tee-tee in our big boy underwear! Where do we tee-tee?". To which I make them respond, "In the potty!". We are about 2 hours into it and with the help of Phineas and Ferb we have succesfully had both tee-tee and Caleb even poo-poo'd!

I realize that bodily function aren't really that interesting for our followers, but that is what we have going on this weekend! I have to admit that my intentions are a little selfish as not having to change diapers ever again with these two would be AWESOME!

Sorry there are no new pictures, but the camera got lost in Jennifer's purse and it was dead when I went to download this morning!

Family Birthday Party

We had a birthday party back home and just got the pictures back!! The boys had a great time at their party and everyone enjoyed spending time with them!!

This is one of my favorite pictures!!! Three Woodys in a chair!!

Cooper did not want to blow out his candle, so Caleb leaned over blew it out for him!! This did not go over well, so we lit it again to give him a chance!!! My mother's pictures were from another angle, and you see me holding Caleb back with my hand over his mouth so Cooper could take his turn.

I still cannot believe we have three year olds!!
We have lots of pictures and updates from Mommy's birthday weekend to put up so check back soon!
