Ashley and Seth get married!!

We celebrated Ashley and Seth this weekend at their beautiful wedding in Lufkin! We had an amazing weekend celebrating and Loved spending time with our favorite people!! From the food, the music, and the CAKE- everything was perfect. We had a slight glitch when the boys stopped by Misty's house to pick up our car. Within 5 minutes, cooper had clogged the potty, Matt fixing it caused it to overflow, and Campbell spilled about 3 gallons of water on the floor. When I shooed them out, we discovered Campbell's car seat had been forgotten. Typical day for us, but not the Best timing.

Baby Campbell is 15 months old!! He can say, dada, mama, up, ball, bubba, and uh oh!! He knows where his belly button is and can tell you if he has dirty pants. He eats everything and loves bananas, blueberries, corn, grapes, puffs, and applesauce. He hates avocado and cauliflower and broccoli. He is so sweet and funny and laid back. His brothers adore him and he loves playing with them.

Happy Anniversary!

Today I get to celebrate 6 years of blissful marriage with my beautiful wife.  It has been an amazing ride and I am so glad Jennifer is the one I have gotten to share it with.

Shorty, given the time I could think of a million reasons why I am the luckiest man on earth, but here are just a few:
1.  You are a beautiful and amazing woman.
2.  You have such a kind heart that is always thinking of others.
3.  You are an amazing Mommy that has given me 3 handsome boys!
4.  You are such a hard worker whether be at your job or with these boys.
5.  No matter what the situation you will make life-long friends.
6.  You are so passionate about your children.  There is nothing you wouldn't do for them and you always make sure they have everything they need.
7.  I love spending time with you.  I could never get enough time with you and these boys.
8.  You can always make me laugh.

We talk about our crazy lives all the time and today is just another example.  I love you and can't wait to spend the next 60 years married to you.

Happy Birthday Elizabeth.......But don't tell anyone

The boys celebrated Molly and Allies lil sisters birthday today at Wonderwild. Surprisingly WW has very strict rules as to how a birthday can be celebrated. I guess it makes sense but we still seems kinda strange.

The boys didn't mind as there were still cupcakes a plenty. Notice cooper licked all the icing off and has saved the cake. He is definitely my child.

Look at this big boy! I swear he looks just like me in this pic! I can even picture a certain elephant smock my mom used to make me wear that you wouldn't be able to tell us apart in.

Campbell's First Trolley Ride

Free entertainment is at a premium in The Woodlands so you do what you can to break up the day. The big boys used to get to ride the trolley all the time but Campbell wasn't a fan of public transportation at Disney so we were worried the trolley was done. Turns out Campbell is a trooper and liked staring out the window just as much as his brothers.

Kitchen Renovation - Complete

The past three days have been absolutely crazy in our house, but as you can see the kitchen was totally worth it.  We couldn't be happier with how it turned out.  Jennifer became a little "reno" machine.  She worked with the installer all the while managing 3 kids.  This included multiple trips to Home Depot / Lowes and basically standing over his shoulder to make sure he did it right.
We are pretty sure he was ready to be done with our little project, but all that matters is he did a good job.
The problem is that now we have the "reno" bug and got quotes for our bathroom to be re-done as well.  After talking to the contractor through it might be a while before that project gets done.

Dave Ramsey would be proud because it was very tempting to pull the ole Amex out of the pocket and tell him to get started on the rest of the house.

Campbell is 9 Months Old!

Sweet Baby Campbell is nine months old today!  I can't believe how fast the time has flown by.  On your nine month birthday you are crawling everywhere and pull yourself up all by yourself on everything.  You love to "walk" from the couch to the chair and you cannot leave the drawers on the entertainment center alone!

We celebrated your "birthday" with a new kitchen.  Day 2 consisted of simply installing the new faucet and putting the design above the stovetop.  Everything is going pretty well.

Here is the design above the stovetop.  Your mommy did such a good job working with the installer to get exactly what she wanted.  Take a long look because your kids will come home to see this design.

The biggest surprise on your birthday was a visit from Mimi.  She came to the rescue and played all day long while Mommy was working on the kitchen.

Kitchen Remodel - Day 1

As promised here are pics after Day 1 of the Kitchen remodel.  We couldn't be happier with the color of the granite and how easy the installation went.  The guys got here about 9:30 this morning and were done by about 4.  Jennifer said it was pretty loud while they were cutting, but Campbell was able to take his afternoon nap right through all the commotion.

I am super pumped about the undermount sink and new faucet that will be installed tomorrow.  The plumber/slash tile guy is coming tomorrow to install the backsplash and hook up the appliances.
We look forward to many a holiday celebration in our brand new kitchen.
I will post pics tomorrow after the backsplash is in.

Wonderwild!

We recently discovered an amazing indoor playground that the boys absolutely love. Now that Mr Campbell is crawling he is no longer free. That meant it was time to bite the bullet and get a membership. It was going to cost us $30 a trip so Jennifer only has to go twice a month to get it to pay for itself.

Campbell loves puppet shows. The big boys love entertaining him so it works out well.

The other great thing about this place is they encourage you to bring your own food. This means a simple trip doesn't turn into $10 worth of junk!

Campbell is such a busy little bee. He never stops and is doing so much more than his brothers were at this age. WW has a lil kid area so Mommy just posts up there with Campbell while the bigs run back and forth.

Kitchen Remodel - Before

When we first looked at our house, Jennifer went on record that she would never buy this house and that the Realtor and I needed to stop talking about it because it would never be an option.  The kitchen was a big reason why!  As you can see we have been rocking some formica for the past four years.  Obviously Jennifer was able to see past the issues with the house (or maybe I told her it was the best deal we could find and she needed to deal with it).
Thanks to a larger than expected interest free loan I gave Uncle Sam we have decided to add new countertops and backsplash to the kitchen.
Our hope is that this will bring the house some what more modern and make it feel more homey because we picked exactly what we wanted.
I have never done anything like this before and I can tell you it has its headaches.  We made it through the issues though and the contractors are on their way today to install the countertops.  Tommorrow and Friday will be spent on the backsplash, so by this weekend we should have a completely new kitchen.

Valentines Party

One of the Many great things about my job is its proximity to home. This allows me to spend random fun events with my boys. Today was the big boys valentines day party at school.

Caleb is so proud of his cookie he decorated. He refused to eat any fruit until his entire cookie and juice box were gone! He takes after his daddy.

Cooper was so proud of the pattern he made on his fruit kabob!

By the end of the party they were done with daddy and ready to head out to the playground!

Happy Valentines Day from The Seelys!
