Kitchen Remodel - Before

 When we first looked at our house, Jennifer went on record that she would never buy this house and that the Realtor and I needed to stop talking about it because it would never be an option.  The kitchen was a big reason why!  As you can see we have been rocking some formica for the past four years.  Obviously Jennifer was able to see past the issues with the house (or maybe I told her it was the best deal we could find and she needed to deal with it).

 Thanks to a larger than expected interest free loan I gave Uncle Sam we have decided to add new countertops and backsplash to the kitchen.

 Our hope is that this will bring the house some what more modern and make it feel more homey because we picked exactly what we wanted.

 I have never done anything like this before and I can tell you it has its headaches.  We made it through the issues though and the contractors are on their way today to install the countertops.  Tommorrow and Friday will be spent on the backsplash, so by this weekend we should have a completely new kitchen.

Valentines Party

One of the Many great things about my job is its proximity to home. This allows me to spend random fun events with my boys. Today was the big boys valentines day party at school.


Caleb is so proud of his cookie he decorated. He refused to eat any fruit until his entire cookie and juice box were gone! He takes after his daddy.


Cooper was so proud of the pattern he made on his fruit kabob!


By the end of the party they were done with daddy and ready to head out to the playground!

Daddy's Day with Campbell

Daddy took a day off work today because Mommy and the big boys were off to Houston to see Elmo Live! The boys thought Elmo was awesome and did great according to Mommy. Who wouldn't be in heaven with sprite snocones popcorn and pizza!


Here is my big boy ready to go in search of breakfast!


Daddy found some excellent Migas at a place called the Eden Cafe. We will definitely be headed back!


This pic was taken on Saturday. Mommy took Cooper to pick out our new countertops so me and Caleb had Campbell duty. Campbell thought he was hot stuff riding in the race car.

We are mobile!

Here is a quick video of the first time my big boy crawled!  Jennifer did an amazing job of capturing this "first".  You set him down now he crawls a little bit, then jumps back on his bottom to wave his arms and scream because he is so proud of himself!

On the move!

Down with hot dogs and cheetos!! The boys were very excited and loved spending time with them!!








The big boys used a gift card from Aunt Sue to pick out a new toy.


I took all three boys to see a bubble-ologost show at the library. Caleb was chosen to be his assistant for one of the tricks.



He is known for his square bubble making.


Campbell is pulling himself up, crawling pretty well, and got two teeth!!

Daddy's Night In

Mommy is off to galavant with her friends tonight so Daddy gets to hang out all by himself with his big boys!


Congrats to A-maw on her pending nuptials. Take care of Mommy tonight and keep reminding her everyone is in good hands!

Snake night

We had kids night out at church last night and brought in a reptile guy!! He wears a real snake as a tie!! The kids loved it and the boys held all the snakes!!
