So this whole parenting thing comes with quite a few surprise and even more "Ah Ha!" moments. The craziest thing is when you see one of the boys do something and you just say to yourself, "My God, he has to get that from his Mother!" Jennifer likes to point out that I choose to make these observations about things they get from her when they are being difficult, but I don't think that is true. At least not all the time!

The best example of this is when the boys eat blueberries. They absolutely love blueberries and each of them have very different ways of eating them. We will leave it up to you Seelyfam.com'ers to determine who takes after who based on their blueberry eating habits.

Caleb - As you walk toward the high chair with the blueberries, Caleb starts kicking his feet and and laughing really loud. Once you get the blueberries on the plate, he sticks about 20 in his mouth at the same time. What you are left with is a little blond haired, blue eyed baby boy that has blueberry juice all over his face, in his hair, under his fingernails, behind his ears, in his eyebrows and between his toes.

Cooper - Cooper takes a much more methodical approach. He chooses to savor his blueberries by eating one at a time. It is really cute to watch him carefully choose his next blueberry, pick it up and place it gingerly in his mouth.

Now you tell me, who do think of when you read Caleb's blueberry approach and who do you think of for Cooper's?
The boy's newest fascination is stairs. They went to Molly and Allie's earlier this week and ran up (not down) the stairs about 3 or 4 times. They LOVE to traverse the stairs. Too bad we bought a one-story house because it really tires them out!
